The Sheriff's Cavalry is a newly formed group of individuals who have or will donate the maximum of $1675.00 in the next election cycle in furtherance of Sheriff Livingston's re-election campaign in 2014. The election cycle runs from July 1, 2010 through June 30, 2014. Only one donation of this maximum amount may be made per individual during this period. These "maximum" donors may or may not be members of the Sheriff's Posse organization. Membership in the Posse is not required for Cavalry Membership. Cavalry members are recognized with an optional membership gold star plaque presented personally by Sheriff Livingston and a lapel pin of golden crossed swords. (Current Cavalry members who wish to purchase the gold star plaque may click here for the order form.)
The first 100 Cavalry Members will be automatically enrolled in the "Founding 100 Team" and their names will be placed on a permanent plaque. Similarly, the first 50 Corporate Donors and Political Action Committees (PACs) will be enrolled in the "Founding 50 Corporate Team." Under county elections rules, PACs may contribute a maximum of $5000 per election cycle. Corporations and businesses may contribute a maximum of $1675.00. Any PAC contributing the maximum donation will be enrolled in the Sheriff's Cavalry.
If you and/or your spouse are interested in making a donation today, please visit the "donate" page, click on the crossed swords above, or mail your campaign contribution to the Re-Election office.
Thank you for your support.
